Hey don't be sadly little
boy, uncle Skipper is willing to comfort
you.
Nice picture from my
brother Skipper "Farbourne's Space
Runner" as he worries agitating about
the little boy. T.Jay is also always the
first to comfort the children and he makes
this also always completely careful.

T.Jay and his friend Grizzly
together in the vineyards.
Both meet together regularly
and then they have only nonsense in the
head. We overlook this, for us it is primarily
important that T.Jay is able to do such
activities with Grizzly without problems
on the elbows. Up to now everything is
ok with T.Jay and we hope that it remain
also in such a way. Thus press the thumbs
and the paws....!
Now and then we make
naturally also training units with both
and the two sweeties complete this excellent.

Merlin Pectinectomy-Surgery |

Merlin 7 month old had to
be operated (cutting the muscle known
as the Pectineus) as a result of severe
hip dysplasia. The operation was accomplished
by doctor Dr. Dijkshoorn from the animal
clinic in Zeist Utrecht.
This method is very promising for young
patients, because the attidude between
the femoral head and the socket becomes
a better adjustment. A good example for
success is T.Jay. His hips are without
pathological findings now.
We press the thumbs for
Melin that he get healthy very soon, too!
The check-up in Utrecht is plan end of
June.

| Yesterday my brother
Skipper had an appointment for a new examination
in the animal clinic (Diergeneeskundige
Kliniek Zeist) of Dr. Dijkshoorn in Zeist
Utrecht. Dr. Dijkshoorn and Prof. Hazewinkel
found out that a piece of bone was present
in the elbow joint. So Skipper was operated
again to remove the piece of bone. This
was the second operation for Skipper and
Anita has to rest him now.
We all presses the thumbs and paws that
Skipper is healthy soon and could be a
really dog for the first time in his life!

Good news
from Tugo |
|
Tugo is a Staffordshire Bull
Terrier. He had the same joint problems
as T.Jay and Skipper (FMCP). 3 surgerys
were necessary to get him healthy. This
week the family from Tugo informed me
that Tugo is now without problems.
We all are very happy about this good
news....!

pictures from my brother Skipper |

Briefly before Christmas
T.Jay could found one brother in the Netherlands.
His name is Skipper and he is a really
beautiful Labrador. Unfortunately Skipper
has the same strong problems with the
elbow joints and he had to be operated
on both elbows. We would like to tell
you our story and pass on our experiences
and information to all other suffering
comrades!

The most important radiographs of T.Jay
were adjusted under the Gallery. Begun
from September 2003 with the x-ray's
of both elbows and the hip, up to the
post-operational x-ray pictures at 30.01.2004.

The search
for the brothers and sisters |
We are already for a long time on the
search for the brothers and sisters
from T.Jay, to date we did not have
any information about the names, still
over the state of health of the brothers
and sisters. By coincidence we have
now get out the names including the
NHSB numbers. For us an important step
to receive finally more information.

Update experience
elbow incongruity |
Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeee it looks very good
for T.Jay!
We had a date with T.Jay in the animal
hospital in Wiesloch (near Heidelberg)
for a complete re-examination. Dr. Walla
let be demonstrated the gait in move
and in trot, further he examined the
mobility of both elbows (bends / stretch
and which angles can be reached thereby
), additionally pain sensitivity was
examined. By T.Jay no remarkablenesses
could be determined and we were very
pleased over this first diagnosis!!!
Afterwards several radiographs from
different positions of both elbows were
made, fortunately T.Jay was completely
courageous, so that we got along without
narcosis. The result of the radiographs
was also positive: By the right elbow
no changes and on the left elbow only
slight arthrosis were to be recognized.
The left elbow was also the side where
the adjustment of length had to be accomplished
on 30.01.2004. After this surgery it
takes a long time until T.Jay was without
lameness. Dr. Walla assumes that the
slight arthrosis resulted in this time
from the indulgence and the false load
accompanying with it. T.Jay got against
the slight arthrosis a injection (not
in the joint) with "Hyaluronsaeure".
Beyond that we should change over from
Canosan to Caniviton as fodder additive.
We are overjoyed with this result. I
was very nervoeus and strained before
this date, and then the whole strain
drops of, a beautiful feeling! The long
months of the therapy with many concerns
and missing have made it possible....T.JAY
IS WITHOUT LAMENESS....and today still
medically one proved!!!

Holidays in
Denmark |
|
T.Jay and his fellow Jumper
a Jack Russel Terrier together in Denmark
(Blavand). Both had much fun on the beach,
especially there were here and there delicious
crabs and other sea animals and both loved
this kind of snacks. In the evening the
two made themselves comfortable in front
of the chimney or on the sofa. Very beautiful

Labbi-Meeting
in Sippersfeld |

T.Jay and his girlfriend
Mel. Many dogs came to Sippersfeld, but
T.Jay had only eyes and ears for its honey
Mel! The other admiring gutters showed
T.Jay only coldly the shoulder, so as
each month. The two are simply inseparable
if they meet togehter. To cool down both
the swimming insert was a welcome alternation.

T.Jay added a Frequently
Asked Questions side, also admits under
the abbreviation FAQ. With this side
we try to deal briefly and precisely
on questions approximately around T.Jay,
elbow dysplasia and hip dysplasia. Beyond
that naturally also the topics those
with such a diagnosis accompany, e.g.
rest phases, physiotherapy, etc.. The
FAQ side
is still in the structure and we would
be pleased about any suggestion. A goal
should be of informing owners of dog
again concerned fast and purposefully.
The FAQ
side should represent a short understandable
summary to the joint problems.

Character-Test in Westhofen |
|
T.Jay existed the character
test successfully in Westhofen. Here again
cordial thanks at Marlene Gugumus and
judge Mario Nauke for the successful meeting.
Recapitulatory nature
evaluation:
The 16 month old friendly male dog pointed
a close connection to its leader. The
lay close to hunt are recognizably present
to pronouncedly. The upside-down position
sneezed he playfully. On the Parcour he
is interested in the articles examines
this partial independently, and / or can
be advanced. In the entire test process
the male dog showed a middle Temprament,
paired with a balanced movement impulse.
A beautiful family dog. The behave by
the shot was brave and reliably. |

A great destination to travel
with the dog. T.Jay was gladly seen everywhere
and we found fast connection also without
French knowledge. Also at the beach there
were no problems, we could spend the days
at the beach and it was possible to go
swimming together. We had ourselves a
great old manor rented with horses, donkeys,
goats etc.. (Finistere, near Morlaix).
T.Jay could behave itself like the dog
of Baskerville, which he also did. The
vacation was very beautiful and T.Jay
was totally inspired. For T.Jay it was
the paradies absolutely, we all enjoyed
the trip to Brittany.

Pet obedience
school |
With the adjustment
(surgery) of length between ulna and
radius in connection with a physiotherapy
we could get the joint problem of T.Jay
so far into the grasp that it shows
no symptoms at present. Finally we could
announce ourselves by a dog school and
start with the basic training. T.Jay
makes it enormous fun and we makes piece
for piece a moderate progress.
